Title: How would this be done?
Post by: rtaylor on July 11, 2019, 07:36:13 AM
How do you draw the coved area on one of the edges as shown in this drawing? Sweep does not seem to be an option since the cove does not go all the way around. Turbocad pro 2019.... fairly new user.

A couple of thoughts come to mind, a Cylinder with the top filleted or Revolve a profile. Place the reference point at the center of the object endpoint, then place the object on the end of the block. Subtract.

Or subtract a block from the edge and fillet the inset.   Two edges of three are checked red, the green is an associated edge that auto-indicates.

Thank you both for your reply. I can see now how both methods will work great. You have saved me lots of time trying to figure that out.
