Title: Laptop GPU Comparison Link
Post by: John B. on March 13, 2019, 08:42:55 PM
I was thinking of buying a laptop even if I don't need one but I'm getting itchy to buy something so I looked at eBay, Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace and a lot of laptops are several years old.  There are, of course, different CPUs but also to be considered are the GPUs (graphic processing unit).  I found a link that compares different GPUs side by side:

https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-Quadro-P4000-vs-AMD-FirePro-M8900/m250990vsm9032

There might be many others but this is one I found.  If I decide to get serious I would lean towards a gaming laptop.

November 2018 I bought a Dell 15" I7 Inspiron notebook here in oz with 16mb nVidia 1060ti graphics processor. 1.7tb sata hard disk & 128gb ssd disk. Its a gaming notebook on sale and it cost $1499.00au dollars very satisfied with the purchase.

You have a very high rated GPU.  I found it with 6GB and is superseded by the RTX 2060-6GB.  Good choice.

***I'll wait for a laptop for a while, my dog needs dental work.
