Title: Where is lightworks in TC Pro Platinum 2017 64 bit
Post by: sgeisler on August 15, 2018, 11:33:22 AM
I have Materials created in a prior version of TCad that are not showing up in my Pro Platinum 2017.  Do I need to convert the Lightworks materials to Redchk?  If so how do I do that?

Lightworks was removed from TC in 2015 and put as a 'paid for' plug-in,  it was reintroduced as the default renderer in v2018 and RedSDK put as a plug-in.

RedSDK uses images or single colour as its materials, in a similar way that lightworks uses 'wrapped image',  whilst TC may on occasion try to simulate a lightworks material, even if it manages to duplicate the title, it's not going to look the same.

You can find the LightWorks plug-in on the TurboCAD 2017 (http://forums.turbocad.com/index.php/topic,20690.0.html) page (scroll down). Contact sales@imsidesign.com if you want to buy it.
