Title: help with filleting
Post by: am8willron on June 02, 2018, 02:47:11 AM
I am having trouble filleting the bends of a part in the attached file. I have created a surface of the adjacent solid, I can't select the surface or any of the edges to fillet them. Have tried using 2d and 3d filleting neither work. Ultimately I want to fillet it, shell it to 1.6mm so I can unfold it. Help please!

Can I ask.   What size of fillet are you trying, I had no problem filleting the solid and the surface, I didn't try all permutations, but the I tried up to 200mm on the solid and up to 300 mm on the surface.  I used TC 2015 for the test.

Try using the Fillet Edges (https://turbocaddoc.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/TC2015UG/pages/29458609/Fillet+Edges) tool. The Fillet3D tool is for 3D Polylines and Fillet2D is for similar 2D lines, not solid objects.
