Title: Display with less resolution on curve edge.
Post by: Yuansheng on April 24, 2018, 08:00:57 AM
With 'revolve', I create a 3d object (red arrow), based on 2d object (blue arrow).
However, I wish to display it on layout sheet with 'drafting', as the edge blue arrow pointed. That is, not so many curve lines as the red arrow pointed.
I checked with the properties of 'Suppress tangency lines', 'Suppress hidden tangency lines only', and Curve segments amount', but they seems not relevant.

Could anyone please help?
Thanks in advance.

Best Regards
Simon

One possible cause of the unwanted lines is that the rounded corners of the profile have been exploded into a collection of line segments (as with the right-hand object in the attached screenshot). Try redrawing the profile.

Thank you, Henry.
You are right. Due to some reason, it had been converted to line segments, as I can also see many edit points on the curve/arc when switch the object to 'edit mode' with 'edit tool'.
Fixed with re-draw.

Thanks~
