TurboCad for Dummies
« on: March 29, 2012, 01:06:58 PM »
My computer that had an old, old version of TurboCad finally crashed and I lost my Turbocad program. I installed turbocad 18 and I'm having a hard time doing the simplest of things. Maybe someone can help me. I use turbocad to draw 2d decks. Here are the things I can't figure out: Setting the scale so I can put the dimensions in feet and still see the drawing on the page. How to find near point and midpoint of lines. How to use the hatches so I can put deck boards on the deck drawing. Putting the dimensions on the drawing. and putting text along side the drawing. Thanks in advance for your help.

here's what to do:

post your questions here one at a time.

describe problem as much as possible in title.

put your operating system and TurboCAD version

in your signature ( it saves time! )

here's screenshot of Snaps Menu

for your next question, put it in a new post.

the TurboCAD patrol won't come to your

house and haul you away for making too many posts! :)

then edit your signature to add OS and TurboCAD version.
