COE Failure

BUG: "Center of Extents" running snap and the E SEKE fail. In the attached file, try to snap the small sphere to the Center of Extents of the other object. It lands in the wrong place.

I think I've encountered this problem before. There is a workaround, of course, but this BUG can lead to serious errors if not worked around.

The attached screenshot shows one way to create an object with the COE problem. Note that the unfolded face was rotated after placing on the WP. The COE BUG seems  to arise when I rotate a profile before extruding or rotate the extrusion after creating it from a non-rotated profile.
