Many Thanks guys... your comments are much appreciated.  :)

I must get round to finishing the sheen calculator and update the drawing I mentioned in a topic a while back... I have rewritten it in AutoIT and most of its done to a point....

Let me begin by saying that once again, as a intermediate level user of TurboCAD 3D modeling with limited rendering experience, I am sitting here in awe at the realism displayed in these and other examples of your work, Daz.  I agree with Jeff - if you hadn't said so, I'd argue a couple of these examples were photos of actual settings.  Not only you, but several others in this forum continue to amaze me with examples of things that are possible with TurboCAD.

One thing I often wonder, though - are the creators of these exceptional renderings actually using TurboCAD to model every single entity represented in the rendered view, or are some of the items 3D imports from other sources to which materials are applied and painstakingly massaged to create the final render.  My assumption is that everything is created in TurboCAD and that makes it all the more intriguing.

Great work!!

Hi Mike
Thanks for your compliments.

Most I am now modelling fully in TurboCAD as using TC geometry it is nicer/cleaner to view in Wireframe. a few of the countertop/worktop accessories like the hob utensils wire basket and apples are from other sources but I am gradually building a good selection of TC accessories. The imports I have edited them adding smeshing to smooth them and materials.

One thing to mention there is no post editing in them outside of TC.... Especially now RedSDK have all the tools necessary to make the render "pop" in the Tone Mapping controls.

I use loads on blocks and xrefs mostly dragged in from the Library which contains all the cabinets, fascias, handles appliances etc for faster planning.

They look great Darrel!

I am curious as to what the thick chrome arc is in the second image. I can't identify it based on the 1st image for comparison.

Hi Don...

Thanks...

It is the Swan Neck Tap spout or as you probably say in the US..Faucet...  ;)

I should of really upped the faceter quality or even smeshed the TC geometry to make it look more curved...

Ah! now I see it. The sink is at the lower right corner of the image. The end of the faucet just looks like it is coming up out of the tray with the spatula, etc containers on the other counter. Not a criticism, it was just my mind trying to sort out what it wasn't seeing very clearly.

Not sure what's going off with the RedSDk Plugin for customers? Hopefully the owners will tell when they will have it packaged and available?

What I find a bit annoying they have added the option to convert RedSDK shaders to Lightworks Shaders upon opening a drawing which is great... if only they did this when RedSDK was the default render engine. They could of even made it so Lightworks Material Parameters to drive RedSDK shaders which would have reduced the frustration of many users with redSDK just being Image based and harder to understand.... In hindsight eh.... Rant over...

Hey Darrell how are you doing 2018 renders with red,  are you using the beta redSDK? Or has imsi released a plugin for redSDK 2018?
Or have I got it wrong?
