I decided to draw a 3D paraffin lamp, as an exercise. I achieved this effect.

Nice work, haven't send a lamp with a reflector attached before, curious if there is any specific applicationwhere its used

Thanks Andy. Everything is done in TurboCAD. Reflector is a combination of a spheres and cones.

Not uncommon in my part of the world, Andy. I have several in my home, three of which are on the walls of the office where I'm sitting now.

Very nice model, Marek. If you feel like fiddling with it some more, try reducing the Roughness of the glass material.

Henry, Carroll, Brad, Don Thank you very much.

-Henry -I changed Roughness factor  from 0.1 to 0.06 and  additionaly  Refraction factor from 1 to 1.5 for the blue glass. I tried another combinations factors,  but the possible combinations are enormous. I have  slowly to gain experience and somehow catalog and save them. I think I'll try to create my own database of the materials with  descriptions, to still do not repeat the same mistakes and do not start every time from the beginning.
- I did not think that such lamps still hang himself in so many places. I think it serves only to interior design as decoration. Somewhere I saw such lamps on wall, but inside was already electric light bulb.

Thanks wd. I found  miniature such lamps - hence I had a mechanism that I could strip to parts and draw. Other elements I drew  on the basis of different photos. As soon as something interesting will fall into my eye and I had time, I'll definitely try to draw something.

I tried to light my lamp. Playing with light is not easy. :( I do not know whether the lampshade, also should not cast a shadow. Even though I put "spot light" between the lampshade and reflector lamps, the shadow does not show up. I wonder , at all, what beam of light  gives such headlamp.

Try making the Cone angle about 175 degrees, and perhaps making the light somewhat brighter.
